I am a principal member of technical staff at AT&T labs, advanced radio technologies group. My main area of focus is 5G cellular networks. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in December 2012. At UT, I worked within the Wireless Networking and Communication Group (WNCG) under the supervision of Prof. Robert W. Heath, Jr. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Engineering in Computer and Communications Engineering and a minor in Mathematics (Honors) from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon in 2006, and completed my Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2008. I was a visiting researcher at the Alcatel-Lucent Chair on Flexible Radio at SUPELEC, France in 2011. During the course of my PhD, I was an intern at Huawei R&D, Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs and Qualcomm, inc.
